Here are some choices of nappy covers and singlets for boys. I am loving the guitar fabric by Michael Miller. Will be offering more choices soon, just have to source out some new options first.
Well yesterday was a huge market with many sales, I introduced a new style of dress and some pram liners. It was a beautiful day, sunny and warm despite the rainy start. I have another market next week, and very little time to sew up the new stock, so that is where I am headed now! Have a good week!
Still a North American tradition we miss here being as we are Canadain, but it seems to be gaining some popularity! The kids managed to fill up their candy bags!
Sage was putting pegs in Byron's hair this morning and wanted me to take a picture. I thought they turned out very cute although you can not see the pegs that well.
And of course I made one trip to a great fabric shop in Bathurst. I was surprised to find a good one there but, happy and will make some little dresses from these fabrics. I would have loved to visit more fabric shops but, it was supposed to be a holiday with no work.
The first is of Sage with a new hat from Auntie linda, the second is of us with Linda and her boys Lucas, and Tyler all grown up now! We are about to play a game of squash in Bathurst. The third is of the kids with Sue and Matt's 3 boys in the Central Coast. The last photo was taken just before we left home of Byron asleep in a basket, he was tired of waiting for us to pack the car and leave I guess. He fell asleep while Jake was pulling him around the house. If I can figure out how to post a video on my blog I will do one of Byron crawling because over our holiday he has become quite the pro. Guess I better get baby proofing my house now!
The first is of the girls on a quick stop just past Coffs Harbour on our way down. The second is of Pa and the kids and the last of Ruby in a tinsel hat Auntie Linda gave her for the little party she put on for her birthday. That was fun!
The weather is warming up again and nothing looks cuter then a ruffle nappy cover and matching singlet. And for the boys I have made up some nappy covers which are just as cute minus the ruffle. Here are some images from the last market. I have a new pattern for pinafores and am now creating super soft minky backed bibs. If your baby drools as much as my baby then these bibs are perfect, the triple layer keeps their clothes dry and best of all they are cute to look at! More images to come soon which will include new headbands and some tunic dresses.
Byron has been enjoying his food for awhile now. Not content to wait the recomended 6 months he started trying close to 5 months. He is now on 6 months and loving it, his favourite being porridge. He are a couple of pictures from when he first started.
Will post a few photos of some new dresses and nappy covers I have made for market this week.
Byron was hanging out to be old enough to start enjoying this amazing exersaucer! And now at 4 months he is the perfect age and is really enjoying the new upright bouncy position this new toy is allowing him. And for me, well an extra 15 minutes of free time is always appreciated!
Here he is Byron at 2 months growing very quickly. It is almost time for me to post a 3 month photo in a couple of weeks. We are adjusting to well to 4 children. The girls are besotted especially, Ruby who is like his second mommy. Jake is patiently waiting for Byron to start interacting more probably the best time for them will be when he is on his feet and they can kick a ball together. We are starting to sleep better but, colic is still very much a factor in sleepless nights around here. Will post some more photos soon, gosh I want a new camera!!!!
I find my time VERY limited now with a new baby, but have found doing these sets are less time consuming and work well for the winter months coming up. It has also allowed me to use up lots of offcuts I have. Notice the t-shirts for the boys with the Vespa's on them. I have many more t-shirt designs coming for boys, now that I have one of my own I am enjoying finding fabric to suit. Have a lovely Easter!
I am a married mother to 4 beautiful children. I am Canadian but, live in Australia with my Aussie husband whom I met while backpacking. I have recently discovered a love for all things crafty (www.etsy.com, anyone?) and have been making clothes and accessories for babies and toddlers.
